HCL Infosystems Limited (hereinafter referred to "HCL") warrants that the gaming consoles/ educational laptops (products) are free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 3 (three) months from the date of purchase (excluding adaptors, batteries and other accessories). Subject to the conditions and limitations set forth below, HCL will, at its option, either repair or replace any part of its products that prove defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials. Repaired parts or replacement products will be either new or refurbished to be functionally equivalent to new. This Limited Warranty applies to products purchased from an authorized channel partner of HCL Infosystems Ltd. ("HCL") by the original purchaser for normal use and not for resale.

The purchase of every HCL Product is backed by HCL's Best Assured standard customer care support service infrastructure, which enables each customer to have access to prompt and effective assistance whenever needed. The HCL Best Assured support offers, several convenient options to reach the support services of HCL all through the year.   • This HCL product, purchased in India from authorized channel partner of the company (parallel imports are excluded from the warranty) is covered by a free replacement/repair warranty subject to the conditions hereunder for a period of THREE MONTHS from the date of purchase. To avail warranty services, the customer must produce valid proof of purchase.
  • Warranty Service is available at HCL BIM (Bring In Centers) on working days during 9.00am to 5.30pm, excluding public holidays. The warranty is applicable in INDIA only

Warranty Process

  • Step 1: Call up the call centre at 1860-1802-425 and log in the complaint providing description of the damage and/or defect to the representative.
  • Step 2: Upon verification of product and purchase proof, the call centre executive will issue a unique call ID (registering complaint is MANDATORY. Service centre will not accept any product without call log identification number)
  • Step 3: Along with the call log ID and proof of purchase, deposit the defective product and all accessories at the closest HCL service centre (for contact details refer to website www.hclinfosystems.in/megaming or end of this leaflet)
  • Step 4: If HCL determines that the replacement is not covered under the warranty, you will be duly notified.
  • Step 5: If product can be repaired/replaced at the service centre, the Center In-charge will do the needful, else s/he will provide details of when the product can be returned/replaced.

Note: For any DAP (Dead after Possession), the customer should log a complaint with HCL customer care. The Customer must return the Product to HCL BIM service centers, with original packaging including all original accessories and original purchase invoice with the call id within 7 days of date of purchase.

Terms & Conditions

  • HCL warrants the product to be free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal use for a period of three months from the date of invoice. The customer must give proof of purchase with date of purchase, model and serial number before submitting the unit under warranty claim.
  • The warranty is only valid when the warranty certificate (duly filled, signed and stamped by the selling dealer), along with the original bill of purchase indicating the date of purchase and the dealer's name is presented to the Company s authorized BIM Centre.
  • Any modifications, amendments, or defacement to these documents or the products shall render this warranty void
  • The Company's obligation under this warranty shall only be limited to repairing or providing replacement of defective parts/product. Company shall not be responsible for any damage resulting out of improper use of the products. In case HCL decides at its sole discretion that the product is not repairable, , HCL will replace the defective product with a working one or a similar or equivalent model or value, if the same model is not available. The warranty is provided only on device and not on other in-box/add-on contents such as batteries, cables, accessories, etc.
  • Any product replaced under the warranty shall be subject to the balance of the original warranty period applicable to the product
  • While the company will make every effort to carry out repairs and/or replacements at the earliest, it is however made explicitly clear that the company is under no obligation to do so within a specified period of time.
  • The customer of HCL product would need to bring in the defective product to the HCL BIM Centre to make a request for free repair/replacement along with original purchase invoice and warranty card list of service centers attached and available on website URL
  • Acceptance of goods by dealer does not amount to guaranteed repair / replacement of the product. The defect is evaluated by the HCL care centre and subject to the warranty terms.


  • Manufacturing defects (display, speakers & switches)
  • Dead on Arrival


  • If the product is not in good working order as warranted, the sole and exclusive remedy shall be to repair/replace (incase repair is not possible) the product with a working one or a similar or equivalent model or value.
  • This warranty extends only to original purchaser and is non-transferable.
  • This warranty program does not extend to any product purchased from an unauthorized dealer or reseller.
  • HCL may assign any of its rights and / or obligations, either in whole or in part, to any of its affiliates or any third party. HCL may also at its discretion enter into any sub contract with any person for the performance of any part of this warranty or appoint any authorized service provider.
  • Warranty will automatically get terminated after the expiry of warranty period specified in this document, even if the product may not be used for any time during the warranty period for whatsoever reasons

Exclusions: The warranty shall be void if product or part label / serial number has been removed, damaged, altered, or obscured. Failure or defects of the product or part has been resulted from or attributable to:

  • Modification, service, maintenance or repair attempted or done other than by a HCL representative or HCL authorized partner.
  • Any extrinsic cause, accidental damage, improper use, Liquid Logging , modification, adaptation, neglect, wear and tear, improper installation and connection external electrical fault leading to hardware/ component failure/ burnt and any fire accidents, which damage the hardware and the components
  • Operation outside the usage parameters stated in the user documentation
  • Improper physical/ electrical or operating environment
  • Defects/damage caused by normal wear & tear of product and/or parts over a period of time/usage, including but not limited to damage or defect to the finish or exterior of the product (such as paint peel off, color changes, scratches, etc.)
  • Defects caused by household pests, rats, cockroaches, lizards or any other such insects/animals
  • Unauthorized correction/ alterations made in invoice copy/ installation note/serial number of the product
  • Default in the payment of full price of the product supplied by HCL or its authorized reseller

Note: In case of the above mentioned defects, the customer may get the unit repaired from the service centre on a chargeable basis (subject to availability of spare parts or reparability).

Limitations of Liability: If the HCL gaming console fails to work as warranted, HCL's maximum liability under the limited warranty is expressly limited to the price paid for the product.. Except as indicated above, in no event will HCL be liable for any damages caused by the product or the failure of the product to perform, including any lost profits or savings, business interruption, loss of use or any other commercial or economic loss of any kind, or special, incidental, or consequential damages. HCL is not liable for any claim made by a third party or made by you for the third party. This limitation of liability applies whether damages are sought, or a claim is made, under this limited warranty or as a tort claim (including negligence and strict product liability), a contract claim or any other claim. This limitation in liability cannot be waived or amended by any person. This limitation of liability will be effective even if you have advised HCL, or an authorized representative of HCL, of the possibility of any such damages or even if such possibility were reasonably foreseeable

Technical symptoms that shall not give rise to claim under Warranty.

  • Small horizontal lines may appear on your LCD display when batteries need replacement.
  • Small bright dots may appear on your LCD display when you turn the product on. Any small bright dots that may appear on your display are intrinsic characteristics of the LCD manufacturing technology.

Customer Responsibilities: To enable HCL to provide the best possible support and services during the limited warranty period, you will be required to:

  • Ensure that all manufacturers' labels (such as serial numbers) are in place, accessible, and legible.
  • Maintain an environment consistent with product specifications and supported configurations.

Force Majeure: HCL will not be liable in any manner whatsoever if the product performance is altered or service is delayed by force majeure events.

Governing law and jurisdiction: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi.

NOTE: HCL reserves the right to alter or cancel the warranty program at any time without prior notice.
